It’s March 1st, which means that I can officially start seeing Spring on the horizon here in the midwest. With my vacation to Florida only 3 weeks away, I switched gears from sweater to swimsuit shopping.
Swim is typically my least favorite thing to shop for. It’s SO easy to feel self-conscious and not confident, however, I think my mentality just needed to change. Instead of dreading looking for suits, I actually looked forward to it this year. I went into it excited to try different suits and find the styles that made me feel the most confident in my own skin. Took quite a few styles and trials, but SO excited to wear the winners to the beach in a couple weeks.
Below is the swimsuit haul I did (at Aerie and Amazon), along with reviews on each of the suits! Hope this is helpful for you 🙂
**For sizing reference, I’m 5’5 and 140 lbs. I usually wear a size 4 (small) in pants and a size medium bralette.
Aerie’s at it again! Love the vibrant colors, adjustable straps and comfortable high-waisted bottoms. (Top: Lg, Bottom: Sm) 
My favorite suit of the haul! Will be wearing this Aerie suit SO much this spring/ summer. (Top: Med, Bottom: Sm) 
Have had this cute floral suit from Amazon for a year now and it’s one of my favorites. So comfortable, available in multiple colors, and under $30! (Medium) 
This is another Amazon suit that I was pleasantly surprised by. I love how comfortable the bandeau top is and the slightly high-rise bottoms. (Medium) 
This wasn’t my favorite suit for my body type, but it would be super cute for somebody with a less athletic build. Found on Amazon, size small. 
This is the same Amazon suit as the marble one shown previously– just had to add more leopard print to my collection! Runs rather small, I sized up to a medium. 
Yet another highly- rated Amazon swimsuit. It wasn’t for me because it was very high waisted, but if you like that this is an amazing option! Runs small- order a size up! (I got a medium) 
This little polka-dotted number was a little too high-waisted for my liking but it fits super cute still. If you need a little more support up top, I’d recommend ordering up because the top runs small.
Aerie was the winner for me! I found those suits the most comfortable and flattering to my body type. What’s your favorite place to shop for swim?
